Title: how to remove diff!!!
Post by: skybusr34 on November 16, 2006, 05:47:04 PM
can a mod please make this a sticky!!!

harris & sparrow diff removal advice

when you crunch up your diff like sparrow..

don`t try removing diff in a normal width garage,
dont have rex jacked up at less than 18" off floor
don`t use an extension bar  24" long
keep all tools close by so you don`t loose the 21mm socket every 2 minutes!!

but we`re getting close to having the diff out .

I can add a few to the list..:D

Don\'t have a carpeted garage,so you can use a trolley jack!!
Don\'t start drinking Stella until the end of your work!
Don\'t try and get under the car at the same time and the same space!
Don\'t leave your tool box open in the rain!
Don\'t think its only going too take an hour or two!!

Anyone else want to add a mechanicing mishap, feel free!

Cheers Gurj for popping down to see us!!:D
