Possable that you have a bad Air pump and if you don\'t use one over time the Cat will Clog up and Die, Usaly the signs are Mostly up the Rev range or under load (Boosting)

Are you getting First Turbo Boost now?

I may know where there is a Cat,Air pump and a Decat.

air pump, and that decat you have will it work with my ecu or do i need the power FC as i remeber someone saying as long as the bore of the pipe is the same as the cat it wont mess the standard mapping up

you really need to lose the mines completely anyhow IMO and get something programmeable in its place...and get it programmed...

its all part of the future plan i just cant afford to do it untill after xmas as i have found out there are NO uk mines dealers who i can speak to for advice i have even spoken to pip for advice about it and he is a little unsure about it. i want to get a power FC for it as i want to move over to a Big single T04s or a T04z with a extended street port.

TBH if i was you i\'d get rd of the Air pump and Put a decat on. I can\'t see there being any Big Effects with a Std bore decat? I think its the 3" Down pipe that you\'d start having Boost Problems with.

BTW the To4S is a smallish Plain bearing Turbo and the To4Z is a Monster Roller Bearing Turbo there quite Diffrent ;)

This sounds eerily similar to my drive home last week.  Haven\'t been out in the car since as I\'m worried.  My airpump is disconnected, also because it was making a hideous noise and then heat light kept coming on about 50 miles from home.  I\'ve got an Apexi PFC on mine though, does that make any difference??

Boost would kinda drop off from 12psi down to nothing and flutter about a bit, higher up the rev range.

I\'m hoping the cat is knackered like you say Grizzly and a nice easy decat and remove airpump fix, rather than blown seals or anything.

Sorry to hijack the thread Little_ant, but the symptoms were too similar to mine and worry was setting in

Think a trip to see Pip is on the cards, luckily I\'m moving to Middlewich in January.  So just round the corner from WGT.

You mean the over flow tank? So you don\'t have any water in it?

I\'ll have a look through my Collection of Bits.

think so, looks like it should be the bottle you fill for the wash jets on a normal car lol

nope got no water in it as it leaks out the bottom only just found this out tonight when i was checking levels and filled it up

iv got a list as long as my arm of bits i need
O/S door glass
O/S outer window seal
O/S rubber seal that goes around top edge of door opening
plastic trim than goes around the clocks and the lower panel that would go above your feet,
N/s rear quater reflector
front splitter
lol thats why i thought if i could find someone in the northwest i could just go up n get them as postage would be a bummer

If you can wait a couple of weeks I\'ll have the glass and rubbers available.
And I\'m in the North West (ish) - Skipton.

Send us a mail and I\'ll make sure I give you a shout when they are available.

Tony
