Title: Pics of FMIC setup please
Post by: hawker182 on November 13, 2006, 09:14:02 PM
As i\'m still waiting on gettin the car on the road, i\'d thought about moving my TMIC to the front, i\'ve done alot of research and am pretty sure i know what i need to do. Would just be nice to have some pics of peoples setups, if theres any out there as a guidline, plus any major problems that i may come across

The rad is already mounted well forward and the battery is behind the pass seat where the 2+2\'s used to be, i removed the aircon and have done away with the airpump. Already have an uprated IC just need to mount it and get some piping down to it.

Can anyone also tell me how to remove the front bumper as i\'ve looked and cant seem to get to the bolts by hand.....think i may just be being dumb

Here are some pics of work underway

Excellent cheers, did stu ever get round to mounting his FMIC? whilst doing some searching through the forums came across a thread that he wanted too

Some pics of where you have to cutaway under the headlights would be handy too, or just some idea on how thick the metal work is?

Worcester - not far away from me! :Thumbsup!

Front bumper I took off, cant remember a precise way but I started off pretty much undoing every bolt undernearh and where else I could see them and just kinda see where the resistance is!!  (ok I made it sound bad :spank  )

Yeah this will be my plan of attack i think, just awaiting the intercooler pipes and a full car cover, as the bonnett will be coming off and the weather is not so forgiving this time of year lol. Will post pics as i go

Didnt know Worc had a Jap performance club though....must get signed up, is it any good? Worc does have its fair share of boy racers be nice to meet some people with the similar interest esp if it involved other RX7 owners

Cheers Ricco

Yeah, a group of my mate\'s started it off many many moons ago, very proud to know virtually everyone on there - it\'s more about being mates & having fun rather than just numbers! :bandit

Well I sometimes offer help to mates and usually end up being pretty useless! :Thumbsup!  (they learn not to ask!)  I\'m very proud tonight as I just took the 54mm nut off the flywheel all by myself! :D

Can always pop over but this time of year your right - not too good!
