Yep Ive got FD roof racks, much to the laughter of some on here.

You need to get one from YAKIMA, and last time I looked, they didnt have a European dealer. I have bike racks that go on top of roof bars. I bought mine in Canada, and brought them over myself. I got some accesories for it last year, and the shop said they can accept a credit card payment and ship to the UK. I can see if I can find their details if you like?

The great thing about these racks is, I just change the "feet" and they fit the 323 as well !

Maybe worth doing a search on the US forum, i seem to remember some one asking about them there.

It is one of the Fd\'s draw backs (can\'t fit alot in one)

I beleive that Thule do them , I looked into it when I was getting my rex , considered using it for work but then I came to my senses and bought a van as well , figured it was cheaper to buy a van than fill an rx up everyday

Halfords stock thule stuff

Yakima do still sell them. You need to choose 1993 and then RX-7.

Ok, what I need to do then is find the shop that sold me my bits. I will see if I can get their contact info.

If you need them in a hurry, then I could sell you mine at the new price, and I will buy new ones from Canada.

I will post a picture later of what I have.

I know they have changed the design of the bike racks, but I think you just want the bars? ( and the fittings to attach the bars? ).

There are a few options. The bars are a bit noisy at speed, so I bought a deflector.

You can also get a (adjustable ) basket.

Locks, so the bars stay locked on the car.

Ok, I got a quote on the bars, and the feet (towers) - with their clips, plus 4 locks, its about $300 US. EXCLUDING shipping.

I dont know about the shipping / postage cost yet. The place I bought from, says on their website that they dont send overseas, but I am sure that if I phone the shop where I got them, they will. I will call them later ( they\'re still sleeping! )

When are you going?

Remember if you buy them to remove them when you\'re not using them, it causes you to waste a lot of petrol LOL... I\'m not even joking...

Right, good news.

I called them and the guy remembered me ! !!!!!!

Anyway, he says no problem on sending us stuff.

So, what I will do next, is assemble the part numbers and send that to him, so he can come back with a proper quote for the stuff, and for the shipping.

Also, will probably put the rack on the FD again tomorrow, then I can send you a picture or 2, eh?

Here is a first view.

The bike racks are extra. In fact they have changed the design of the bike rack. I think the bars and towers are still the same.
