Title: Re-feeding fuel pump and coils
Post by: Tintin on November 08, 2006, 08:47:33 PM
Firstly I don\'t want to get into all the alarm wiring does/doesn\'t affect the spark at the plugs and the voltage at the pump , I was thinking about doing the pump before I started reading about all this alarm carry on but now I\'m thinking I may as well do the coils as well

The best way of doing this that I can see is running a new fused feed from the batt through a relay and on to the pump/coils the using the existing wiring to operate the relay , correct ???

But what are peoples recomendations on cable size and/or fuse size ???

Also where do you take your feed to for the coils ? is it direct to the coils or is it to the ignitor ??
