Title: HKS hyper D settings
Post by: allstaruk on November 05, 2006, 05:32:01 PM
Hi

Can anyone tell me apprx how much thread they\'ve got showing front and rear on thier HKS hyper D\'s I\'ve fitted them and i know I\'m going to need to adjust them a bit but it would be nice to be able to quickly get them near the right hight.

I\'m runnign 17\'s with the usual size tyres.

you r asking a question that might well get you a hundred different answers.  Most set their height to their own preferences or as just pot luck that will do....it looks alright.  Trouble is unless you set the car up to the original height as from manufactuer you might as well get it to how u want it and then get the geometry checked by an expert.

I know, I\'ve got it close to what I want now just wanted a rough starting point as the first time I did it the car was so low I couldn\'t get a fag packet under the front bumper.

Anyway, just incase this crops up again, I\'ve got 6.5cm of thread showing on the front and this is still really low and 5 at the back and this is higher than stock.
