Title: Wobbling Bonnet
Post by: nickwebley on November 04, 2006, 01:56:15 PM
Just a quick one guys. When I drive my RX at "some speed" I can see my bonnet wobbling around. Wondered if anyone else has the same problem and if there is a way to resolve it, as to be honest, it makes me feel a little bit uneasy.

Cheers. Nick.

Bonnet pins and undertray and check the gap at the front where the bonnet meets the front bumper - if its quite big get some rubber strips in there.

Or

Don\'t drive as fast! lol!! ;)

Is it a standard bonnet and a standard front bumper. Mine started wobbling a bit when I changed the front bumper (I think due to the reinforcement being taken off). My carbon bonnet is getting fitted soon and it will have bonnet pins so I\'m not too worried. If you are you may want to do as mentioned above (bonnet pins or rubber strips as this will lessen the stress on the catch)
