But what did you do with the vacuum lines going to it, which solenoids can you remove? What did you block up.

Its next to the rats nest under the pleum (uim) you can\'t see it without taking things off.

If you need pictures I gonna be taking the plenum off pretty soon so let me know, you need blanking plates to remove the acv.

You don\'t have to remove, do you have a power fc, if not i\'d leave it in place.

The ACV has 2 uses it is used as part of the air pump to pump clean air into the cat under 2500 rpm in order to preserve the cat and dilute the emmisions as such, it also allows a little bit more air into the exhaust on overrun to aid the burning of un burnt fuel.

Do you have a decat mate?

Then you might as well remove the ACV the other reason to do it is if your fitting a top mount secondary fuel rail you\'ll need it gone.

blackrex, if you need it explaining let me know and i\'ll scrawl out a quick guide to removing it.

ACV and pipes not a lot at all, with the airpump quite a bit its a heavy old lump. Its handy clearing up the spave for air flow round the turbo\'s too.
