Title: Greddy profec b2 question
Post by: stylus350 on November 03, 2006, 10:18:44 AM
Hi.
I have one of these in my FD but no instuctions. When I turn on the ignition it does a couple of things on the display resulting in it saying \'OFF\' just before going into its normal state of showing boost (at least thats what I think its showing!!) Does this mean its not doing anything? Any one with instructions willing to give a brief outline of functions and how to adjust them? :)

you have to switch it on by holding the top button down for 2 seconds,  while its off boost if set to normal wastegate pressure.

Make sure when you switch it on boost isnt set to a stupid level

Its behind the steering wheel on top of the plastic cowling in front of the clocks. Held on with velcro and looks very at home there.:)

Cool - that\'s where i was thinking of putting mine. How are the cables routed? Are there any holes drilled in the cowling, or do they slip down behind it?

Mine\'s on top of column too.  I had to heat a screwdriver and melt a semi circle in the edge of the plastic cowl for the vac pipe to go under the instrument cluster (only slightly).  This stopped the vac pipe from pinching.  Best place for it though, just dont put your hand through the steering wheel when using it!
