My first post. Just wanted to share my good news.
I have been lucky enought o pick up a cancellation.
RX8 Metallic Red 231 ps - red & black leather.
Drove the car yesterday, hopefully pick it up at the end of the week.
Trading in my Mazda 6 Sport, only had it since March. A bit daft really losing loads of dosh but after driving the RX I just had to have it.

It looks like someone has cliped on one of them old 80\'s style reflector things onto the edge of door.
I can see it in that picture you posted, and as I havnt seen that before on an RX8 (I even went back some posts on here checking) I assume that someone has just cliped it on to stop the door getting chipped.
Just spoils the lines a bit I think.

See what you mean. I think it was just a peice of tape. The car still had plastic bags and bits of tape protecting all over it when I took the pic.

Yep - they are a bit heavy on fuel :( but see what you think after driving it for a while :)

Congratulations. I am sure you will love the car.
The plastic door protector is standard fitment for shipment and is removed by dealer. See pic below.
My average fuel consumption over last 808 miles is 22.5 MPG I will put more details on one of the other threads about fuel economy. This is mainly long distance driving with a few short trips in traffic.
