Title: What can I run on Apexi base map
Post by: allstaruk on October 26, 2006, 12:05:43 PM
Hi

I am in the process of starting to fit things to my car slowly before I get it mapped, I have lots of mods to go on but I\'m wondering how much I can get away with fitting and using on the base map of the apexi till I can take the car off the rd fit everything and get it all mapped.

So the question is on the base map can I fit/remove;

Fit Silenced mid pipe
Cat Back
Remove Air Pump
Remove ACV

I\'m thinking thats prob all I can get away with, fitting the SMIC and induction kit I think would be a little to much till so I\'ll wait till I can fit the injectors and fuel pump and do it in one go.

When i ran mine on a base map, i had cat back, induction kit (They don\'t do that much in reality) and a v-mount. Ran fine. Yours are similar, so you should, i reckon be fine.

Don\'t go too mad - you\'ll get to a point where the map is not rich enough. The trouble is, we don\'t know what that point is.

Thats what I was thinking thats why I was thinking fit the silenced mid pipe and remove the air pump then leave the filteres/injectors/intercooler till its time to get in mapped.
