Post by: allstaruk on October 25, 2006, 05:52:11 PM
Hi ya guys,

I\'ve just got a second hand apexi power FC it came from a single turbo, now its going into my at the moment stock twin turbo so will obviously need to be set back to the base map, also will it need to go through any kind of set up process, basically what I want to know is how do I get this all up and running.

Cheers

Alan

Once you physicaly fit it, you need to reset the PFC and do the learning process.  Follow this link and read the instruction manuals.  Its easy to reset and do the learning process again.

Not lambda sensor, heat sensor. but i suspect you just got your wording wrong, not the actual sensor! :D

The one on the CAT, thinking about it it probably is the heat sensor, well can I just unplug it?

I think that\'ll throw an error on it. That\'s why a lot of people leave it plugged in - the ECU is expecting it to be there. Although, that might be the standard ECU. Now I\'m not sure!!

We\'ll find out in a min, its not like the apexi uses the heat light for what it supposed, to.

Just finished taking the cat out and its not spiting flames

In a lot of vehicles the cat temp sensor wire (single wire sensor) can be cut and connected to earth (just connect to the body somewhere) to turn the light off.  If it is a two wire sensor bridge the two wires.
