Hi... i just need you\'r help for a problem with my single turbo fd3s.
the engine run not so good and i don\'t know why... before that i just got some cut when the car run on the road at middle rev (approx 4 to 5000rpm)
the car smell too much the fuel at the rear of the exhaust
may it will be an ignition problem?
plugs problem? or another really bad problem?
i just send a little video with this post and you can hear the noise of the car when idle and accelerate (like an american v8 at idle :2Rolleyes :D )
waiting for replies :)

many thanks for help by advance!
video link under!!
BTTT :) anyone has an idea?
Not sure but it sounds like your Map Sensor pipe may have come off, simple to solve just push it back on and put a mini cable tie/jubilie clip round it.
Can you tell me where i can locate this part??
or make me a draw ? :D
there is a little pic of my engine
thanks :)
Think that its just to the rear and left (as you look at that picture) of your fuel pressure regulator
It is here:
I will try that tomorrow... it\'s not possible to the problem comes from the plugs??
The reason I said check that pipe, is the way you relate what happened. It sounds as if you were driving along and it just started. All other problems normally start with little problems that get bigger. This one just sounds like that pipe coming off, it\'s happened to me on the way to Santa pod after I had given it some boost. I got there and said I thought I had blown a tip or something, one of the RE:WORX lads started the car and went to that pipe immediately, put it back on and it purrrrrrred like a kitten.
I will try to fix that... may it\'s another thing but i don\'t know!
thanks
A mate recently had a problem like that of Yours. It turned out to be a split at the Engine end of the Map Sencer Pipe and the Little Black Filter was also full of Oil and Junk. Once they where sorted out it ran Sweet.
Also it may be a Good idea to give it a service, its Comon for Tuned FD\'s to Kill Plugs regularly.
Hi again, i just change the plugs and the problem stays..
there is another little video if anyone had another idea of the problem... i think it\'s not the pipe too... can you tell me what i have to check :( i have try with another ecu and the car runs bad and engine vibrate when idle..
thanks i\'m waiting for you\'r replies :)

The pipe you\'r talking about is the boost sensor no?
i have check this thing but work fine and no problems here!
when i have change the plugs i see that the 2 plugs in the front rotor are white and not good fuelling and the 2 plugs at the rear rotor are black like overfuelling... anyway the 4 plugs are dead when i change..
but now i don\'t know where is the problem...
it\'s like there is a ignition cut and like a normal car when run on 3 cylinders..
I hate saying this but have you Compression tested it? Does it sound like its running on three all the Time?
I have heard a few bad engines and tbh it does\'nt sound Bad enough but at least if you have it done it puts your Mind at rest.
Being a Single it rules out alot of the Usal Problems with vac pipes etc, the map sensor Pipe all you need to do is take it off and Blow through it, if its Clear and not full of Oil and stuff put it back on. If it is full of Crap take the Map Sencer off and make sure thats not the same.
Its possable you may have a Stuck Side seal or some thing like that, a Comp test should tell you if the Core is Good.
I will try to make a compression test but i do not understand something..
when idle the engine runs bad... when i put the car to 3000 - 3500rpm there is no problem or bad noise... just overfuelling as i can see..
i don\'t know what is the problem may comes from a vaacum pipe yes but dont know where... problem has started when i drive the car on the highway last week when come back from the ring!
but at the nurburgring no problems with the car... only when come back... no abusive oil drinking lol..
just i have to check the compressions!
Yes, i understand what your saying and tbh i would\'nt think the engine will be to fault but its a prosses of elimination. When ever i have a Miss fire i always Comp test first.
do u hve a boost gge what is it reading at idle is the needle steady or fluttering and is it hard to start when warm as this sounds like dead tip syndrome mine vibrated at idle and was hard to start and boost gge was fluttering at idle was better at 3000rpm as it was sealing better
No boost gauge ok - easy to start the car when warm and cold
dont know where come from the problem... i will check the compressions.
