19" 2 peice alloys ( chromies for my homies :Tongue1 )
some sort of really quiet stainless exhaust ( anyone wanna swap it if theres is too loud gimme a shout)
and thats all i know
is a fresh import so i am the first registered uk owner i pick it up next weekend cant wait
insurence isnt too bad either 1k third part fire and theft a year all mods declaired at 20 with a years NCB come from driving a honda crx vtec and also a BMW z3 M roadster
Congrats that looks like a well sorted Rex! The rear wiper has been professionally removed at some point and you\'ve got a Mazdaspeed vented bonnet on there to. Very nice. :Thumbs-up

Theres a post in the engine performance tech section from a guy called robevo5 who wants to swap his mongoose exhaust for a quieter one cos it\'s to loud for him! Could be perfect timing for you!

Mate I have a Mongoose cat back zorst thats too loud for me, quieter than say a blitz but still bloody noisey. Wana swap ?

oh yeah its a C west kit got all the manuals for it in the car but there all in japanese, along with a JDM y0 glove that was left in the glove box pmsl

20 yrs old with insurance for 1k? id be wary that its down as the right car..
i found that out the hardway when i didnt know much about rxs...
insurance companies sometimes list it as a 2.4.. this is incorrect, its a 2.6 or 1.3l..
cheapest i got was £1700 with 2yrs ncb fully comp. alloys and hks airfilters declared.
where did you get yours from?

Anthony: i too was warey about the quote but made them read all the details out to me the women even quoted that it was a FD3s and asked me engine size so i told them it was either a 1.3 or a 2.6 depending on how they classify the engine. My insurence company is Quinn Direct and they wont quote new customers on rx7\'s as they dont insure them but will insure existing customers on them as there is a loop whole in the law where if you are refused insurence due to the company not insuring that car and you allready have your policy with them, then go out and buy the new car they wont insure the company is legal obliged to insure you on it, this is the second time i have used this loop hole lol
allstaruk: keep me informed mate i am intrested, i am awaiting a return email from rob at the moment but let me know what you have anyway as idealy i want a jap exhaust i.e. apexi, rsr tanabe etc.....
No probs mate, depending on which one I choose to keep its either gonna be a tanabe or the HKS one I sell.

Thats who my insurers are on my other car - they told me to go whistle when I asked them!!
Any chance of some more details on how to get them to insure it??

twisted humor there was no special trick to it just tell them you have got the car rather than looking at buying it and there have to give you a quote thats what i did

I hope so, Fd\'s proberly not going to be looking its best :( (i\'ve taken some of the stuff off it i\'m paranoid about blowing it before its mapped) But its worth a trip out just to show my Face. :)

Right mate, Looks like I am gonna sell the HKS one its just a little to loud for me and stick with my tababe one.
I am in the process of painting and polishing the tanabe one as I have the HKS one on my car I\'m hoping the get this done by the end of the weekend so will be avalible sometime next week.
