hey can ne1 help me with a diagnosis??.I started the rex up this mornin & had a little more blue smoke than normal,it cleared pretty quickly so i ran the car back outa the garage to give it a wash,leaving it running,after bout 15 mins the exhasut smoke starts to turn blue again & im getting a whole lot more smoke,a quick rev or two n this abated.i then took the car out for a blast& gave it some,there seemed to be no abnormal smoke or such & when i put it back in the garage everythin seemed fine.the car has been sitting for about three weeks virtually unstarted before yesterday & i had the same thing when i left it idling yesterday,oil pressure seems normal & there is no obvious signs of anything wrong,no leaks,it idles perfectly & runs nice & smooth with both turbos spooling up fine??.Can anyone help me i just wanna make sure i aint gonna do any damage 2 it or make whatever the prob is terminal!:eek
A mate had the same/simalar Problem (his did the same thing as yours but if he went on a spirited run then did\'nt cool it down properly it would smoke realy bad next day), he was told it was the Oil seals in one of his turbo\'s on the way out, he was also told fitting a Oil catch tank would help.
Which it did, but it never went 100% away.
