Title: fc and fd front hub interchangability???
Post by: travellinbob on October 20, 2006, 09:22:56 PM
Hi think I just found out that the fd wheels I am waiting on will not fit on the fc struts I am using on my project. Bummer that!!:spank
So am wondering if the front hubs are able to be changed one for the other and would that fix my wheels not fitting issue? I am not wanting to run a huge spacer on the front unless someone can reassure me that it can be done safely.
 cheers, michael.

Michael,
I\'m no expert but the front end of the TII is quite different from the FD,  i know there are proper names for the different types of set up but i dont know them, but the TII uses the shock as the upright whereas the FD uses an upper wishbound set up so the shock isnt as close to the wheel.  maybe you should just sell the FD wheels and get some TII wheels.

just thought, i have these for sale, they are ultra light weight, 71/2 inch on the front and 81/2 on the rear.  They are a proper split rim but didnt fit over my big brakes.
