Ok, while I was on holiday my FD has had a new Apexi Intercooler and a Koyo radiator fitted with all the pipe work and stuff. It has also been de-catted and had the air-pump removed.
The problem is I don\'t think it will be mapped before I get it back on monday. My FD is my daily drive so can I drive this safely with just a reset of the base map on the APEXI ecu? Hopefully it can be mapped next Saturday.
Obvioulsy I will need to drive around off-boost, but is that ok?
Unless anyone fancies popping over to Guildford with a data-logit on Monday evening!!! :)
i was told by pip that its safe to drive the car but keep it under 5k
i manage to drive mine for a cpl of weeks and the from edinburgh to pips

Off boost you shoult be ok, the problems only really start to occour when you add boost to the equation.

Yea you can of course drive the car, but to get maximum results for your latest mods you will need to map it to its potential, driving around normally will cause no damage dude :Thumbs-up

You never know it may get mapped this weekend, before I pick it up, its just in case it didn\'t. I didn\'t want to be left stranded, crying at the side of the road...it doesn\'t look very manly :)
