Title: Fuel tank seals.
Post by: Topline on October 18, 2006, 07:44:03 AM
Can anyone help me.

I have fitted a new fuel tank but need the seal which sits between the fuel tank and the filler neck.  I have tried Mazda (without success - no surprise) and a couple of other specialists but without any joy.  This means I can only put a couple of gallons in the tank before it starts to seep out.

Any ideas?

Jon

have you got the original as I may have some rubber that could be used to make one.

i may be able to \'\'borrow\'\' you some PRC if your intrested its a fuel resistant sealant i use it on aircraft fuel tanks to seal rivets, I don\'t know if its used any where else, but PM me if it will do the job

PS, is really nasty stuff (WEAR GLOVES) and it bloody stinks when you first mix it :Thumbs-up
