Hi all,
A couple of times in the last few weeks after several stop/starts I can\'t rev above about 2.5.Its as though the ECU is reigning back any attempt to go faster than about 30mph.
Other symptoms are some white smoke on first start up and sometimes lumpy idle during initial warm-up.
The car is a 2000 model Type RS with 25k on the clock.
Is it possible that I have Tip or Seal problems at this stage?
The only thing is the car hasn\'t seen much use the past 4-5 months...
