Title: max wheel offset for big brakes
Post by: Ed_RX7 on October 13, 2006, 11:07:47 AM
I need to know what is the max offset or max size spacer for the rear wheels without having them stick out past the rear arch.....
trial fitted some wheels on my car and they have an ofsett of 35 but with a 3mm spacer they were still touching my caliper:3Confused ...so should I get bigger spacers?

Cheers

ET30 will catch the top of the rear arch, but with a little grinding that shouldnt be a problem :)

This isnt just down to the ET of the wheel but how much space the spokes leave.  Thats not much help though.

Yeh I agree i.ve measured it and i need a wheel, that has at least 1.75 in ches space between the hub/wheel mating surface and the inner face of the spoke.
