Hi can anyone tell me what size a injector holder should be for a standard set of secondary 850\'s please.
I am have the holders welded into my greedy elbow so I need to know internal diamiter and lenght please.

if i understand correctly then your asking the question after youve finished the task.
anyway, ive got holders welded to a greedy elbow and have used 680cc injectors, didnt need to bore anything out, they just fit straight in. I think reworx may8 have some of these if you havent already got your injectors. They are plenty big enough for well over 400rwhp with 4x850\'s in the standard system
if you use side feed injectors you will need to link a fuel rail between them both, its easier to use top feed injectors and just push fuel hose on the top of the injectors because they are so close together on your elbow.

No not finished the task not even started, I need to inform the guy who was doing the welding for me what size I needed to slot the standard 850cc injectors I have bought so he can gett ehm turned.

im in royton to mate! harewood drive on thorp farm, with a white fd re- ameya with gold mazdaspeeds on it sat on the drive with no engine in it, not registered yet either,I got it cheap with a popped motor.
The motors rebuilt in the workshop but cant seem to get time to put the thing back in!
I had a silver fd with straight through racing beat with larger exahaust ports all last year which u could hear anywhere in oldham when above 4k !! it had a veilside spoiler on the back. u must of seen it or heard it if u live in royton.
Ive also got an fc drag car in the garage that is very custom indeed with a massive t45 roller bearing turbo, full bridge and custom stainless plenum with q45 throt body with 4 - 50mm runners and 8 injector setup which should be ready for next season hopefully.

std 850s are side feed by the way, ive got loads of fc engine 550cc top feeds if u want to use them with fuel rails as well, in fact u could use the 2 fc primary injectors that are very close together and get your bosses welded the same between centres as the fuel rail which would work perfect.

So it was you I remember seeing in the silver fd, are you just round the corner from the school?, daughter goes to that school so always around, I moved off thorpe recently was on chetwyn ave at the bottom, very suprised we did not meet in the rex\'s living less than a stone throw away, but you may have seen me in my wifes white Integra type R or my black kitted CRX, I now live behind the church of middleton road.
I drive a silver convertable 206 as my every day car for work (I am a driving instructor, you cant miss me I\' have a big latics driver training sign on top of the car)
Sounds like you got a real monster going on with your drag car mate, would love to come and have a gander sometime, were do you take her to drag? you may also be able to help me with my car:) having a few problems at the mo, I have beer as an incentive:) wer can have a miny meet and annoy the general public:)

with a pic of car mate take a look at the crx section as well for my last kitted motor sadly got rid as it was not viable to keep all the cars, got two kids now, but the rex had to stay:)
You seem to really know what you are talking about mate way above what I understand, when we meet up you can probably show me as I am a little simple on the mechanical side of things.

u can come and watch me put the fd motor back in when ive got the time to do it and i,ll show u how easy they are to do!!
this is my 5th rebuild now.
the fc drag car is not finished yet and has never been run, I also bought that with a blown motor cheap! I served my time at holroyds machine tools and rotors in milnrow hence all the engineering talk.
the fc engine has been fully engineered by myself with cnc milled bridgeports, 3mm milled rotors which are also lightened, all stainless milled flanges with 50mm stainless tube runners bent and shaped to match inlet ports,custom made ali fuel rails and injector bosses made the same as the link I gave u.
I dont remember seeing a kitted crx by the way.
Next time im doing a bit on the Drag engine u can come down to the workshop and have a ganders if u want mate.

I have seen the latics learner driver car! do u teach your pupils how to dip a clutch to spool a turbo up and then light the back wheels then !!! always thought driving instructors drove sensible cars like volvos!! not insane rx7s!!
I do live round the corner from the school on harewood drive mate, bring your next pupil up and have a drive by look at my white fd on the drive.

That would be cool, seen the dvd\'s but never thought I would get to see it in real life, I would appreciate the oppertunity to see it done by an expert 5 rebuilds you say.
Know Holroyds got a buddy who works at holroyds at the mo well actually I taught him how to drive but I tend to keep in contact with a lot of the pupils.
Bloody hell you got a lot going on in that FC, cant wait to have a gander, bet your gaggin ot get her finished and racing.
The CRX went a while ago now sad to see it go but the rx is much more fun:)
Know blacksahw lane well, when you get round to doing it I would be happy to offer an extra pair of hands, even if its just brewing up.
My pupils love the convertable to learn in, its a massive selling point when getting new pupils, other instructors say my car causes real problems as when they pass me the pupils say I want to learn in that and not your crap Punto:)
Bloody Volvo\'\'s we do get a bad rap us instructors (but most of them do deserve it) they take the **** out of my mazda no end, take it into work now and again and they say stuff like drive through halford with magnets on my car:)
I do teach them skid control on latics carpark when it snows, they are amazed when I say right floor it rev the tits of it and turn hard now. but no no double clutching and I would never ever let them loose in my baby, we would be dead within two mins.
I teach a lady on thorpe at the mo so I will drive by and take a gander.
