Title: Does anybody have any experience with ecarinsurance?
Post by: elford_tim on October 02, 2006, 08:55:59 AM
Just wondering as they quoted me quite a silly low price on a \'92 FD with no declared mods (something like 300 quid FC, 10k/annum including commuting cover, parked on the street). Now compared to the area in London I used to live this, it\'s really cheap down here inswearance-wise and I\'ve got a full NCB but I\'m still rather surprised by this.

Or, to misquote Ali G, "Iz it because I iz an old fart?" :)

They certainly give good quotes: my partner has just got her documentation through from them, so they seem pucca enough! Her quote from them was £50 cheaper than anywhere else.

Tried to get a quote, but it says they are unable to offer me insurance, probably because of my post code :-(

Same here now - no quote on the car, even though I usually get reasonable quotes due to the post code here (plus they are quoting on my bike).

Oh well, looks like another call to Sureterm Direct then.
