Title: Kiwimazda at Eelmoor Sprint
Post by: noyzboy on October 01, 2006, 11:10:12 PM
It should have been Eelmoor Splash-about.

This was a Farnborough & District Motor Club event. Awful weather.
Helmets and racing overalls required. Lots of Lotus 7 type cars. I had thought about having a go myself, so went to have a look. Interesting course, faster than Autosolos. Was not encouraged on arrival to see a Porsche 924 that had shortened itself by about a foot and a half on a tree.

Brian Stevens was there with his FB. I saw him do one run. A 90 right  turned into a 360 plus, but he and the car seemed OK. It was very wet.

He seems to carry more advertising than I remember.!!!

Tempting but NO. I love my Rex too much to risk bending it.
I\'m doing another Autosolo in Newbury on 15th Oct. This will be my fourth this year.
I haven\'t seen Martin Yates since the first one.

I saw TOTB on Men & Motors. The handling course lookes like good fun.
Can we do one at RS4????

Thanks for that Martin. It was a very hectic day at times and obviously the rain gods were upset at a 7 beating an escort for once. It begining to be a habit that I dont want to kick.
All the advertising on the car is purely a small way for me to say thanks to some people that have helped be it advice or work done on the car that I still pay for. Plus a "sponsored car" looks better

Thanks go to
WGT
Hayward Rotary
Deadman Motors
and TP Services who are primarily responsible for a vast amount of work done on and towing the car all over the south east for me
A very humble Thank You.
Now how do I make this thing go faster
