Title: Normski\'s 3 rotor
Post by: normski on September 27, 2006, 02:03:03 PM
Hi everyone again.

Long time no speak, thats good I hear you all say!!!!

Anyway does anyone have some pics of the car at the show Pip turned up at this year, with  my 3 rotor. He still has the car, still doing little bits on it to improve cooling. But it\'s a;most if not there, now.

Hope to take it to a few shows around Europe next year.
Any suggestions or venue ideas would be good. :burnout

Hay Normski

Not being funny like, but dont you think us UK rotary nuts would like to have a gander, dont know if time is a constraint but you have 2 BIG shows back to back where you could receive all the accolades this comming weekend at Donnington and quickly followed by Santa Pod the following sunday [8th] would be good to see her in all her glory:yes

As for Europe well there must be loads of shows, I think you go to the best one of all........... Le Mans:King  Still remember our little meet on the way down there a few years ago:mmmm

Hi everyone.

Very small problem, with the nice ideas you have :

I am not in the UK.
I am in Bulgaria at the moment, the car is still at Pips (WGT) so he is the guy you should be contacting regards shows at this time.
Last I have heard I should have a new bonnet and a new cooling system as the other one was not up to the job. Other than a few very minor ajustments as far as I know she should be rocking on all rotors as it were!

Hope alll goes well over the next weeek or 2 have fun, and don\'t bend your cars. :cheers

Ok At the moment we are in Bulgaria not, due back in the UK until around the end of Marck 07.

Pip had not quite completed the car to his standard when we left so the car is being completed on his time until we get back next year when it will go to LeMans 07 then off around the EU to visit some show ( if I can find any to to go to) .

So he had a smalll over heating problem to overcome and tunning bits. but he is hoping to take to around the high 500 BHP\'s without pushing it too far. although should be able to make over the 600BHP line if pushed which we don\'t want to do, ((((Toooo M

Title: Ok you want to know!

Including those nice big brakes, bonnet, and all the engine gearbox bits. your bill would be around £36000.00  Thats without paint, wheels, ICE, and all that crap, and the water injection system. I have spent something like or near £50000.00 on it so far. And I still need the interior to sorted. It\'s not bad bad ( interior wise) but it needs to be redone in nice leather (know anyone who could do this for me ?

Thats why It won\'t get used very much. it\'s evolving into one of those silly show things. Was not intended to happen like that, but something went wrong with my plans. Phewww! Others like our friend Gary, had the same thing happen to him. He went down the drag car road and has spend silly money on that, so it happens. It\'s like being a drug addict, you start take the bloody things and the next thing you know your into it bigtime. Not me of course, but you know what I mean.

ANyway if it goes wrong, I now live almost 2000 miles from the UK, and it\'s a long drive to get it back to Pips, Cos I would not trust the locals to work on a push bike in this Country, It\'s way byond their understanding!

:cool Hows things( most important hows that the little one getting on, I hope great, but let us know) I hope he\'s still giving you hard time!!!!:D

Anyway, It\'s started to snow in the mountains here last night, great if your a ski freak! not me!!!  I fall over all the time.  Pip\'s still got the bonnet. so give him a buzz. Have you moved on with your thing or is it still in mothballs. Drop us all some nice pics. As said my thing is just about there now. Due to import crap over here can\'t bring it in untill they go into the Eu in Jan 07, or it will cost arm and a leg, or 2.  I am attempting to find some nice show and venues for the old girl next year ( thats the car I mean)

Still need this Interior done or sorted a bit. Is Carl still around as I think he was doning some of that stuff. ??

Should be over in the Uk around March April 07 for a bit, and hope to do a show or 2 when there, before moving on to LeMans 24 hours. Now thats a must!

Whats happening with yours? Still can\'t wait to see it, hear it, and watch it run the strip! should put my thing to shame anyway! horses for courses I suppose! :Typing

Jack is doing well at the moment mate, back at school, and yes still giving me trouble which is great.

Any talk of snow and i will be there like a shot being a snowboard junkie,Yan would no doubt be with me aswell, should i book the flights now????

Interior retrims i know of a couple of peeps, you still on the same moby number?

Got some good friends in Belgium and Holland who can get me into all the shows there throughout the year, let me know when you want to go.

Mine is coming on mate, just had the inside painted, now in process of wiring it up,then its a case of putting it back together then having the outside painted.Have made a few changes regarding engine config but that will be revealed when the car comes out and not before!!!!!!

Will give you a bell regarding retrim if your numbers still the same.

Ok my mobile has changed to a bloody Bulgarian system which most of the time don\'t work very well or at all when calling from abroad. Abit hit and miss type of thing. Works great out here but thats another story!  I am on skype username of normski26. Great system free download from the internet and it\'s as clear as a bell to. ANd, it\'s free, talk for hours for nothing. I like free, it works for me!
Realy pleased Jack is moving back on course, one breave, tuff, little kid you have there! Tell him well done from me!! and not let up giving you a hard time :D

This car of yours is sounding quite sinister, Perhaps I won\'t race it after all. I know when I am stuffed!! :god  So, is it on track for next year?

As far as shows go, From around end of June next year it should be on the road, ( I mean trailer ) So any show attendance offers could be good. As said, I would like to get the inside sorted a liitle, If you could get an idea of price for a nice job done in good quality leather, door cards centre section where gear stick area is, back seats and area around the back where speakers go, also around steering wheel would be nice to. A good general pose up so it maches the outside a bit more.

You can mail me on djnormski@hotmail.com for any other information you need.

Regards Normski RX7 gen3 nutter. :Thumbsup!

P.S snow boarding !! did you know Bulgarias premiar snow board site is only about 25mins up the road from me , No crap it\'s true
