Title: Removing air-con
Post by: Devil\'s Refugee on September 25, 2006, 09:13:49 AM
Anyone done this to free up space/ weight at the front ?
Any complications like new belts or are there removal kits available ?

Living in Scotland, I doubt I\'ll need the air-con system that much :rollin

The Air con rad & accesories can be easily removed and ditched. I have done so because it was blocking my rad. I havnt removed the pump yet, still need to do it as soon as i can get the car up on the ramps at the new house...

Aside from the underbonnet bits, the diffuser(?) is also removed from inside the car under the glove box. Not difficult to do, and you can get a shortened belt. If you have any problems get onto clive and he\'ll send you out one :cheers
