wheres the best to get a replacement? will a mazda dealership stock these still?

anyone got any tricks of releasing the bonnet now the cable seems to be problematic.

Hey Anthony,
How did you get on with your bonnet release problem. I\'ve got the same problem but I\'m not getting anywhere with the brute force and pliers method:mad: . Can you (or anyone for that matter) offer any advice?

have someone push down on the bonnet to relive pressure before pulling cable from inside the car

Cheers for the help, but the cable had dropped out its catch and it wouldn\'t release.
Found some advice posted by Spartacus which did the trick.
Seemingly there\'s no problem a coat hanger and a pair of pliers can\'t fix:Thumbs-up
