Title: SCOOT bonnet
Post by: a.evdokimov on September 21, 2006, 10:55:04 AM
Hi everybody! I have been looking for a genuine scoot bonnet for a very long time and still cannot find neither manufacturer or any information about it. Does anybody know it/have it? How is the fit? How much did it cost you? And finally does anybody here sell one? Thanx

Check out Newera Parts, but be warned, it\'s expensive for the genuine article and it\'s not in carbon either for that price. Plenty of copies, Seibon do one, not sure about the fit though.

Check out the RE: Amemiya AD9, it\'s similar but without the central \'scoop\'. Can get a carbon one for around £850

Rotary Art, thankx for the info - you know the picture with that orange RX7 done by SP Engineering right? Now that\'s the kind a fit that I want for my car. I have a scoot bonnet now, but after I put on Tein Dampers, it lifted and looks like shi*. So do you think you have a bonnet of that quality as on that orange RX? And how much is the fish? -))

Look at all the other pictures of ones supplied in this thread

If they are good enough for you then you\'ll be ok.
I have noticed that RX7\'s vary greatly and sometimes what is a good fit on one car, is not the same as another, sometimes you cant just slam on a bonnet and it looks good, you may have to fiddle with wings and bumpers to make the alignment just right.

Oh no mate, by dampers I meant the bonnet dampers (sorry didn\'t say it earlier...). So how much you sell em for?
