Title: Failed SVA on Emmissions
Post by: muzzyd on November 22, 2003, 01:50:27 PM
Anyone know what happens next?  RX failed on emmissions, according to importers it was due to the toys it had on it, they have informed me there will be an added cost to get it through.

Not sure of the mods, but from what I can tell it has a single turbo conversion, filter, uprated ecu, full exhaust system, large fmic, hard pipe kit, turbo timer.  Not sure if it has larger injectors or not.

At this rate I will have my rx in 2004, bought it in June 2003, arrived late August 2003. :(

Any info help appreciated.:

hi what year is your car i have just mine and it failed and the mot station but when i rang vosa up they told me what i was aloud and the mot station passed it as he was doing the wrong test on it,also i went to get my sva test done and even he did the wrong test so i mentioned to him that i had spoken to vosa and this is the test you should be doing he had to pass it in the end.
if it is 94 year he should be aloud 1.3 on the lander and up to 1200 hydero carbons and 3.5 on the co2 its called a non cat test on that year dont know if that helps
