Post by: Mobilemick on September 17, 2006, 04:05:18 PM
Its got 12 Months MOT, bits of overspray under the front end, and the boot, doesnt look like its been bumped,
No documents with it MOT says its a 1988 but says 1998 on the MOT.?

It had a new roof about 12 monthts ago,and its a automatic, Drives nice no knocks or creaks  lol

Or maybe one of you lot owned it before, :)

It is in Bolton Now, but been told it was stood for a while,  Mileage says 65543 miles, or is it KM. ?

Thought i saw somewhere on here, about entering VIN number to find previous owners.

How much do these go for now on a E reg..

Where are all these Verts coming from - and now that summer is coming to and end ! :Giggle

Never seen one in yellow before - that must make it quite unusual

Sailed through the MOT,  so think rust would be fine,  The carpet behind drivers seat was a little soggy. and it looks tatty, so gonna rip the carpets out, and get some new ones,

Just spoke to me mate ,he says i can have it for £1000,  but he owes me £300 so its sounding cheaper all the time  lol

Is that the black cab, u got ?

Yeah, :) :) :)

the roof stopped working as well, but manged to sort that out after i`d bought it ;).  just looking for a nice set of carpets now, and gonna change the oil and fit some new plugs, cos it got 2 normal ngks in it??

anyone have part numbers for oil/filters/plugs etc.

was gonna stick some slick 50  or should i use semi synthetic.

congrats matey :D :D :D

the roof - glad you got it sorted out - you can wind up up and down manually aswell if the motors stop working - there is a mechanism on the motors for this ( same as elec sunroof - you can usually wind them manually )

the plugs - they should be something like BUR9EQ ( and T for top plugs and L for lower plugs )

oil filter - anywhere should sell these - i think they are about £3 at my local car place in chorley

oil - i use castrol mineral oil 10/40 - have a search about synthetic oil - its been discussed MANY times

i do the oil and filter every 2000 miles or 12 months which ever comes sooner ( and for me its every 12 months - so not tooooooo bad )

any more question - just fire away !!

not sure if you are into the "meet" scene - but we have a monthly meet in warrington
