Title: 2 rev counters but no speedo -lol
Post by: stylus350 on September 17, 2006, 12:56:57 PM
My speedo has taken a sudden liking to the rev counter and tries to follow it around the dial! There is no relation to road speed at all. I can do a ton just by blipping the throttle on my drive:Laugh

Is this a common fault?

I\'ve now got this problem myself. I took my dash apart, when I put it back together the speedo didn\'t work properly and wobbled around the speed I was doing then after about 20 mins worked fine.

Now most of the time its reading as per a rev counter unless I take the revs about 2000rpm then it sort of works again. Or sometimes it will work for a while then go wrong again without moving or touching a thing!

I took my dash apart again today to see if I could see what was wrong but I can\'t see any problems, I gave all the cables a giggle and it made no difference.

Any managed to solve this one before?
