Title: Waterpump/Alternator pulley set
Post by: DarranJones on September 16, 2006, 04:43:12 PM
Hi guys,

I found these on eBay and wondered if they were the ones used when removing the air pump?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/93-95-MAZDA-RX7-RX-7-FD3S-Waterpump-Alternator-Pulley_W0QQitemZ180028201897QQihZ008QQcategoryZ40192QQcmdZViewItem

Any thoughts?

Cheers, Darran.

They are indeed... Very good value too...   Ask the chap to also supply the belt and job done!

Yeah, I bought some in the end.

They don\'t come with a belt though so I\'m gonna have to keep trying different ones until I find the right length.

Looks like a copy of some greddy ones I found on the web somewhere though.

mine arrived and you do only get the pulleys, thought they might of included some nice fasteners but nevermind. Tehy are a fair amount larger than the stock items, i need to sort a belt out too now.

And wouldnt mind a guide for blanking the air pump etc off

Why can\'t you just use a smaller belt with the airpump removed?

I seem to remember looking around the engine bay thinking that\'d do just fine :)
