Title: FD pcd same as Audi a3???
Post by: travellinbob on September 15, 2006, 10:17:39 PM
Hi all, just a random question about pcd. I am wanting to fit fd wheels onto my car, (no it is not an A3) but I do know that there are a few other cars that have the same pcd, subaru, etc. So anyone know the pcd of an ausi A3?
 cheers, and thaks, michael.

nope...audi 5 stud is usually 5x100 or 5x112. A3s are 5x100. Subaru 5 stud is also 5x100. The FD uses 5x114.3 (4.5in)

AAaaah cool, just that I wanted to replace the 17 inch alloys on my vw camper with fd wheels but I guess it is a no go.
 cheers for that, michael.

If your camper is 5x112 they\'d go on with wobbly nuts but I wouldn\'t recommend it as I\'m not sure if tey\'re designed to take the load of a camper... Also I\'d guess the offset and tyre sizes would probably be wrong... What sort of camper are we talking? Splitty, Bay, Wedge or the newer type?

Its a 73 bay pop top with a 1700 type 4 engine. The wheels on it are not to my liking for the bay so just looking around.
