Welcome to the club bud...

I will have to say im liking that car....rex\'s are unique in their own way as standard but that back end is tottaly different and may be the only one in the country.  I haven\'t seen that front bumper on many cars here also and with colour being white and the carbon wing and bonnet does compliment the looks nicely.

Get the car comp tested and see what the results are??....happy hunting...:wiggle

Have you looked at the cars on here mate? Theres some very good ones for sale and you\'ll get an enthusiasts car then instead of one you don\'t know the history of.

By the way the black one probably hasnt\' had a new engine fitted, it would have had a rebuild of the old engine. This is a good thing to look for with rx\'s, just make sure you\'ve got the paperwork for it as many car traders bullsh*t and say its had a rebuild because they know prospective owners expect one.

Hi, I actually went to look at some RX 7\'s at the garage that is selling that white one, I didn\'t intend on buying one from a garage like that but thought id have a look at what was on offer. The condition of all the cars there was appauling IMO and I wouldn\'t go near any of them.
As said there are lots of good ones for sale on here, have a look!

I do agree he has some rather poor cars, this white one is very clean no dents small modsto the engine, very low milage and only came into the country 4 weeks ago (Hpi check) and is all to uk spec inc SVA and MOT

that back end is a matter of taste, personally i dont like it and i love the standard lights.  All depends if it is to your taste.  Its definatly best to have a good look around before you purchase, theres usually plenty for sale on here and also you can sometimes pick up some bargains on ebay but you have to be careful, you might beable to find some on ebay that are far from you and you can g take a look before bidding, i bought mine from ebay and at the time didnt know alot about rx7\'s but i guess i was lucky, bought a car with 60,000 on the clock and no rebuild but touch wood is still runing well after having it a year and a half.  The main thing to look out for is always the engine, you aways want to check the milage but there are lots of things you need to check for, if the car is quite highly modifed then you never know how well it has been set up or looked after so just because its only got 10k on the clock still could go bang if not set up and treated properly.  They always say that a rotary engine needs a rebuild on average at around 65,000.  This always depends on what mods the enginre has and how its been looked after, ive known some that have gone on until 90,000, mines quite standard mods and is currently at nearly 70,000 and has had a compression test which showed its still quite healthy.  Thats one thing you might want to try and get done on a car you want to buy, a compression test.

Exterior mods are always a matter of taste so go for woteva you like in that department, everyone likes different mods.

I\'d think long and hard about how modified a car you want to end up with.

If you plan on ending up with a highly modded car, then buy one allready modded as it will save you a fortune.

If you want a stocker, fine but once you start modifying these cars it gets real expensive real fast (plenty of peeps here will admit to that !!)

If I were you I\'d shift the Z3 privately and go shopping with cash, it will give you more choice !!

Check out the for sale section on this site for some AWESOME examples of RX-7\'s.

If you buy the wrong one and it ends up needing rebuild, gearbox, suspension, bushes doing in the first year you can be looking at the wrong side of £10k in repairs.

Better to buy a rebuilt one or a genuine low miler from somewhere trusted like Newera Imports for example, or an enthusiast owned car off a site like this !!

Good luck whatever you decide to do, enjoy the car and dont worry about the petrol bills else you\'ll never buy one :rollin
