Looking for any info on what power your making and when your boost starts building ? Are you running HKS or the Garret branded version, what size A/R etc ?
I\'d be interested to hear specs and opinions.

Will be running my old engine and turbo setup end of this month.
Garrett TO4Z rear A/R 1.15, full boost 3600 rpm
At 1.3 Bar 450 at the wheels on a conservative tune, but with AI will be looking for more on a tune.
Im running the TO4R at tho mo and its only boostin to .7 -.8 and doesnt reach full boost till 5800 :2eek

Cheers Blitzboy. Where did you get the Turbo from ? Am I right in thinking the smaller the A/R the faster spool but lower power up top ?

sounds like you may need a smaller exhaust housing!
PS My engine has big Ports which helps the spool no end. Also the wastegate spring is set at 10psi which also helps spool combined with a good boost controller and the gain set correctly this helps spool as well.
Andy get that thing tuned!! something is wrong there if it is spooling that late ! or are u running stock ports?

I got mine from Horsepower in a box. Yes you are quite correct smaller A/R has a faster spool, depends on your porting a smaller AR on a ported engine might choke the engine up top
I run HKS TO4Z. I make 435 at the wheels at 1.2 bar boost. HKS version has a few tricks up its sleave including (from memory) a T51 exhaust turbine and ported shroud. I make full boost under 3500rpm and I have a large half bridge port. If you want to have a chat about it come over to //www.FDUK.org I even have a graph etc. on that forum.
