So much its going to make me cry.  Considering the merits of garaging it over winter and insuring it in my name next year when I\'m 21.  If I do that then it will be in my dads name so it can at least be taken for a run every week to keep it fresh.

just bought this one of carl with the higher spec engine. 300 ish bhp. collecting it in 4 weeks.

im from south ireland and my insurance is 3500 euro not sure what that is in pounds

Who is your insurance with?  To insure a 360bhp car, mine is coming in quite a few hundred more :(

I duno how people have these at 18, when I was 18 i was paying £1400 on a 1.4 astra before finally getting a 106 gti at 20 and my FD just after I turned 23. Mind you the FD only costs me 600!! WOO!

i started of with a 1.2 punto. 11 mounths later got a punto GT. then when i finsishesd school i started saving for the rx.

all my frinds are driving 1.4s and the odd v-tech and glansa and there all paying about 3 or 4 ground so for me to get a quote of 3500 was very cheap

16... although in fairness i dont fully own an rx...just parts of it lol...

But im sure i will when i go 17 :D
