I just had to bodge my reverse lights for its test to a spare switch ( donÂ´t askÂ´) anyway the lights donÂ´t come on when I select reverse and its all wired up correctly?????

Take the plug off the reverse light switch and short the wires together, if they light up, the switch is knacked :0
