Adrian Flux need my engine number to finish my insurance contract off fully. I looked on door but no sticker - car has been resprayed so I guess its been removed at some point.
Looked in the engine bay but i am so not \'engine brainy\' I couldnt really see anything even slightly like a number stamped on the block. Someone said its under the alternator - thats great an\' all but I am only 90% certain I know which bit is the alternator lol (dont shoot me ! I will learn ...)
So bottom line is.... can anyone put a pic up to show where the hell I should be looking? please?

(btw no rush but they are gonna cancel my policy tomorrow if I dont provide it lol - nowt like living on borrowed time hehe)
It\'s underneath the alternator on the front end-plate. Bit of a pain in the keister to get to, alternator\'s gotta come off. If memory serves it\'s a letter followed by six numbers.
