Title: confused with bushes, differences between polybushes and mazda items
Post by: richard cash on September 10, 2006, 10:48:29 AM
I need to replace some rear bushes and have looked into some powerflex bushes that reworx sells. Then i was told that there are bushes for both the hub and chassis end (makes sense i suppose??) but im confused. I know the bushes i need but not the names. After doing some research on here im more confused than ever.

Are the ones that reworx sell in their "rear set" all the bushes that the RX7 has at the rear or are there more?

From what ive read there are others that i will need from mazda. Its made more confusing when reworx state their set as a "COMPLETE REAR BUSH KIT".

There are more bushes that arn\'t in the kit, the pillow ball bushes ar not included and they can casue knocking. The kit is all the stationary bushes that don\'t have a ball joint in them.

They are making the suspension one at the minute because that isnt included and mazda only sell it with the complete arm.

Ive attached the rear assembly in a pdf.

The description clearly states what bushes are included and that some are not.

As said in another post the other ones are best bought from mazda and are more bearings than bushes because they are more like a swivel joint than a solid bush.

20B boy, i was just saying that when i first saw that it was a complete rear bush set i assummed just that, then i found out that there are others and i wasnt sure whether the ones i need are included in th set (the diagrams are more confusing than helpful)

I am going to reworx on tuesday so can ask them exactly what bushes i need if i point them out)
