Post by: peterwolds on September 09, 2006, 03:48:22 PM
new bonnet on today, had lights sprayed to match bodywork and bumper resprayed to get rid of stone chips.
bit of messing about to get bonnet to close as induction kit was in way so tyewrapped it down a bit,new IC also in the way so centre vent on bonnet cut back, gold mesh to replace in that vent but may help a bit more air through

to be honest all i keep an eye on with the power fc commander is water temps screen it is permanently set for water temps for safety worries me the consequences of boiling LOL,sure it must make a diference especialy as opened up centre vent more than it was but i have the xs-power IC on without a cold feed so not a good test, regret buying it.looking to change IC fancy the Greddy set up like yours am talking to a member about his which he is changing october presume for fmic, yours looks such a tidy fit compared to mine bodged to hell to squeeze in

Lol, it does fit well I agree.

My only concern is that its quite a big beast and sits quite high and I dont want the Scoot vent being blocked by the Intercooler.

rear of IC from subframe to top is 315 mm and at front of car 305 mm,approx 55-60 mm above height of battery top without cover on - cutout under bonnet to tidy/paint yet
