Title: pop-up motor going mental
Post by: Alex on September 09, 2006, 10:08:20 AM
Hi all,

Replaced my nearside pop-up motor as it had died.  Now when I connect the plug to it and switch the lights on the headlight goes up-down-up-down-up-down......you get the picture     So it\'s disconnected it at the moment.

Anyone had this before / know a solution / got any helpfull advice????

It\'s not good when you flash someone and the car just winks at them :2Rolleyes

Cheers for any help

Alex

Try cleaning the contacts - you\'ll have to take it all apart again, but is worth it. I had a light that wouldn\'t pop-up and cleaned it\'s contacts which sorted it.
