Hi guys... Just got a weird electrical problem the other day.
Suddenly the chargelight and warninglights for water and engine pressure turned on.. Didn\'t have my pfc installed then.. but installed it just for monitoring batterylevel.. Also installed some new headlights from hella as I needed some that where right hand symetrical for swedish mot.. But it doesn\'t make any difference if I unplug those either...
All of a sudden, everythig started to work again.. and now it\'s back to not working. The battery level is down to little over 12 volts when the fault is there.. and when it jumps up it\'s back over 14..
Have installed a new single din stereo and a profec b2, and defi controller.. But I unplugged all those and the fault wonttt go away..
Have anyone experienced this.. or something else similar.. PLZ help..i HATE electrical faults.. :P
Sounds like it\'s a dodgy earth somewhere. Or a cable somewhere earthing itself. One of the two.
That\'s what I thought too... But then, where are the cables for the warninglamps going.. It seems very unlikely that a grounding wire just starts to earth itself as I havn\'t been near any cables behind the dash.. other than the ones for the stereo...
I have been starting to doubt the integrity of the coal inside the generator.. Does anyone know if these symptoms are related to that.
