my front splitter has been repaired by previous owner but has a few splits in it gonna re do it again just ant decide wot colour??
its been painted gloss black the now .but i think the original ones from factory were matt black?
so.... redo it
matt black?
gloss black?
What colour is your car - you may want to colour code it if its red or whatever.
Standard splitters where indeed matt black
its black my car butthe splitter had been colour coded n just wondered if it was an option from factory or that if they all came matt black?
wot you guys think i should go? matt? gloss?
im thinking matt
I think they look better in the matt black, mine was red to go with the car when I got it, but I quickly changed it back to matt black as it looks so much better. You can also use the paint that they use for bumpers, so that it is less prone to stone chips.

Urm wasn\'t a painted front spoiler a factory Option?
Personaly I think a colour coded spliter is better as it looks part of the car rather than something that had been bolted on as an after thought!!
Jono
Yeh it does look better but i prefer None painted becouse My car is lowered and my Spliter gets Abuse of anything taller than a Man hole cover.

lol :Laugh
I was thinking of colour coding mine at one point. I go through phases of liking it matt black and body coloured. Grizzy has given you a good reason to keep it black.
Also the rear bumper and spats are matt black so you would have to get them done too else they wouldn\'t all match. :)
mine is painted and i much prefer it. i bought another cause mine is damaged, i was only going to put it on once it was painted. i am now thinking more about just fixing the old one though to be honest.
but def colour coded in my opinion
anyone got one for sale?
yer possibly
