Title: Help mounting Apexi electronics
Post by: Kevin on September 06, 2006, 10:58:46 AM
Im currently trying to find places to mount some of my Apexi electronics. I have an AVC-R and an RSM to mount but cant seem to find where\'s best to mount it. Ideally i\'d like to have the AVC-R mounted in the lower din slot but I have a double din head unit, so it\'s kinda puts a stop to that idea.

Anybody got any pictures or ideas where\'s best to mount these?

Cheers

Kevin.

I started a thread a while ago to ask people if could post pictures of their dash up - hopefully that should give you some options :)

In my old silvia, I had my RSM/GP and AVC-R here..

http://coconut.se/akira/Bil/interior.jpg  Think I have a pic of both installed but im not sure.  Very nice with the "shiftlight function of the rsm if you have it there.. Very easy to read everything as well.

Other good thing is that if you tint or stream the upper part of the front window noone will be able to see the meters/units from outside.

Cheers mate.  I\'ve seen that thread before and had a look through.  The problem is no one seems to have both of the units mounted.  I think it\'s only "little boy wonder" shaf who has the AVC-R mounted on the dash.

Thats quite good, but I wanted them mounted round the dash area ideally.  Nice idea though and good as its out of sight!
