Title: anyone know what this is from ?

supposed to be for a 1st gen rx7 ,its NOS from a clearance.
any ideas ?

looks like a first gen one ( twin pipes ) - i think the other pipe is for emission stuff - but i could be wrong

Thing is, I thought that it was a back box AND the mid pipe ...but its all one piece !

Thats a first gen back box for sure. The pipe next to it is the air pipe (as grinder said, to reduce emissions). Air is pumped into the exhaust outlets to permit complete burning of fuel and around the thermal reactor.

Most 1st gens dont have them cos the emissions stuff is usually binned and original exhausts are hard to get and sh**e
