Title: Silicone Hose Adhesive for Rats Nest.

I’m looking to replace the vacuum hoses on my FD in the next couple of weeks, I’ve ordered Samco silicone hose and tie wraps, but was wondering which if any adhesive I should use?

I’ve read lots of posts and web sites about changing the rats nest and I’ve only found one suggestion that I should use 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive.

Did any of you use adhesive, if so what, or is this not really required?

A cable tie will suffice or if you want to glue as well just use a drop of super glue.

Thanks Kevin, think I will stick with just using a cable tie.
