Title: Flywheel/Counter weight??
Post by: Grizzly on September 03, 2006, 06:08:52 PM
Hi all.

Does anyone know what Size and lenth the Bolts that hold the Flywheel to an Auto Counter weight are?

I know its a daft question but i\'ve just bought a Counter weight without the Bolts and i\'m ordering a Flywheel in the next day or so.

So... Basicly i don\'t have the parts to take down to my Local Bolt shop :( and i\'m cutting it fine in the Time department.

I may be as well getting in contact with Mazda and ordering some Genuine Bolts from them??

genuine would be best I reckon. Flywheel bolts are usually special fitted bolts. Would be difficult to match them I reckon. (mazda use a few odd threads too, or so I found on my block)

Pretty rough - as its been a while:  6 x high tensile defitine 14mm heads - so 8mm thread?  length around 25mm.  Got a stack of them in Sydney! :)  Use locktight also, check manual for torque settings.
