I have just ordered a full burn out kit for my car and i have got some 18" wheel mania alloys which are a standard offset. Does anyone know how much i will have to pull the wheels out to line up with the arches properly, or where to get the spacers from. thanks.

Whatever spacer you need to bring the wheels out to about ET 20
Where did you order the kit from? are you sure you get the arches with the standard kit, just on their site they are only fiitted to the demo car.
Cheers

Hiya mate yeah you do get the rear arches and the front ones are whole new wings. It is from a company in america.
theres a guy in birmingham who sells the kit
My mate has got one on order will be here in 9 days....He tried direct but had no joy...he has found a new supplier and can get hold of one if u want...genuine or replica. Genuine i think is 2500 replica is 1500. Thanks Kal
u can get him on 07866 484 228 ask for Ally.
they all come with the arches
I can do Burnout kits aswell
Drop me an email if your interested
Rixio :)
I am awaiting a reply from Japan on exactly this currently, as my original Burnout kit is being fitted as we speak. I\'ve heard ET20 as well, but want to be 100% sure.
I am toying with selling my current 19\'s and replacing with the correct offset/size rather than getting spacers. I will see once the kit is test-fitted as spacers could be a bit ropey over a certain size.

ok cheers graig. i would appreciate it if you could let me know when you do. thanks.
So if my wheels are ET 35 do i just need 15mm spacers or will 29mm be a bit better?
You only need to bring them out a little...but also if your car is dropped you need to make sure they dont come out far enough to catch your inner arch :)
i`ve got the burnout kit on mine already. personally i wouldn`t put wheels with less that 25 et on your car. unless you want the camber at stupid angle and mega hard suspension. i tried spacers to take mine down to 20 and the tires hit archs when driven hard. the burnout demo picture runs 11 et the camber so steap outside edges are hardly on road
couple of pics....
forgot to add, the above pictures offsets are 35 et. can drive hard into bends and no rubbing. could do with 8mm more i guess for it to look bang on
whats et 35/25 etc?? I\'ve not a clue what everyone on about here! I understand the spacers move the wheels out and give the car a wider stance but ET?? Wasn\'t he a little man with a long neck and fingers that glowed??

ha ha lmao i think it is just something to do with the offset.
Hi harris i had noticed your car when i searched for BURNOUT kit, it looks great, take it you didnt decide to sell it in the end? So if my wheels are ET35 will it look like yours on those pictures. Do you think 15mm spacers will be too big then because my car is very low. cheers.
Wheel specs are to do with width and offset, so if you have the same width wheels with ET35 offset, they will look like the pics on Harris\' post. How far they stick out (or in) the arches is to do with offset, so if you added 15mm spacers to your ET35 wheels, you would essentially have ET20 wheels (as I understand it), so they would stick out further - I guess what harris is saying is that you could do it, but would suffer from rubbing on steering lock and over bumps.
My burnout kit is being test-fitted this week, and when I am back from the US I will be able to get the measure out to see exactly what I am playing with. Mine are ET38mm with 8.5 front and 9.5 rear, so I am expecting to go for 15mm spacers to get it down to ET23 but will be pushing it from what I can see, so may end up with 10mm.
I have Tein Flex coilovers at default height, which is lower than stock, but I figure I can tweak this once the kit is on and wheels spaced.
Anyhoo, will let you know the results once I see (I\'ll post some pics too).
Cheers, Craig
hi orange. my wheels are 9.5" rear 8.5" front both 18" running 225 front and 255 rear tyres. both have et35 offset. rex is lowered approx 2". i have front inner arch rub on full lock. where the outside edge of tires turn in.
the lower your et, ie et25, will push wheels out further, bear in mind, will increase inner arch rub on lock..
personally i`m happy with how mine sits. maybe push the rears out a bit more than front.. hmmmm

cheers harris. i have the same size wheels on mine at the moment with the standard arches and the batter the living crap out of the arches and even the front bumper, i have cut away the plastic trim so that it doesnt touch for now so i am hoping with the wider arches they wont rub. When you put the arches on what did you attach the plastic inner arches too?
if i remember correctly we fixed it to all the existing mounting points. i`ll check tonight, are you bonding and filling rear arch`s or leaving showing bolts
I\'m running 18x9" ET18 front and 18x10" ET22 on the back, if your down my neck of the woods feel free to drop by to see how they\'d fit under your arches (will want them back though)!
I had my arches cut and rolled, but they are slightly different to yours.

nice one mate where abouts do you live?
Having just looked at the KS Auto website, the text I could make out states the following for their black demo car you see all the pics from;
WEDS BVILLENS T8S
18F 9.0J+6
19R 10.0J+6
GOODYEAR REVSPEC
215/40 R18
235/35 R19
+6 !!! Blimey.... Looks like they have cut down the lower lip section of the front and rear arches too, as the kit has a good 2cm lip that would preclude you from getting the same look as the demo car.
Saw my test fit today, have a few questions over how to handle blending the rear arch extensions, but the quality looks sweet overall.
Craig
I live in South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, Essex.
I had to cut away some of the front inner plastic rain guards too to stop the tires rubbing on full lock. although the benefit is the air passing through oil coolers can go around to the brakes too. Just don\'t go too crazy otherwise driving in the rain will give you a very dirty engine bay - that has to be the worst area to clean without shredding your hands!!
Oh I have a nice desktop pic for you guys ;)
if you look at the rear tyres there are hardcore streched!
Quote from: Rixioif you look at the rear tyres there are hardcore streched!
bloody hell i see what you mean those wheels must be about 12" wide lol
No, they are only 10", but with a 235 tyre, it pulls the sidewalls in dramatically. No wonder they\'ve managed to get the arches within a credit card of the tyres!
I thought you\'d all like it ;)
Some proper stretched tires!
i know its an old thread but my burnout rx been running + 10 at the front and +11 at the rear for 6 months with no problems (after a bit of cutting and filling! ha
Cheers
Nick
Im sure I say this for all who have looked at this thread and not had a word to add, THAT IS SO DAMN PRETTY!!!
