which down pipe for performance n fit?
I have a second hand RE Amemiya uprated front pipe I bought off Miguel, it was on his car until he went single. I fitted it, but unfortunately the turbo flange was warped so I\'m back with the original for now. Got the face skimmed, but yet to refit it. It did fit well though first time.
When I asked re:worx they said the HKS was very good and the flange doesn\'t warp?
Not the biggest fan of every thing HKS, but their downpipes are a good compromise in performance and build. The flanges put up a much better fight against warage than most other brans imo. The FEED stainless is another good one but its about a million quid. Trust is pretty decent too. The 80mm R-Magic and RE-Amemiya ones seem to bend too readily :-/
I got me an HKS. Aint warped in the 3 years I\'ve had it (that I know of).
Iv got HKS..been on the car about 2 years no probs with it so far! :Thumbs-up
get the Trust one...bore is bigger than the hks jobbie....so it will flow more!!
missRX7 how did you find it? increase in power? and sound?
It was on the car when i brought it so cant really compare ...But my exhaust system ( sports cat and nur spec ) doesnt feel restricted at all.
I love the look of the Knightsports Dual pipe one. Also found a nice looking one by Rouse (God knows who they are) on Ooparts international.
But at the end of the day if you even think you might go single one day you might as well get the cheapest one i.e. the HKS one.
one here (http://www.yocustomize.co.uk/html/mazda_rx-7_fd3s_06.html)

We have previously sold the R-Magic front pipes - but the flanges were painfully thin (less thna 10mm compared to say about 20mm on the FEED pipes) and would warp very easily...
Bought an HKS 76mm dp. Good pipe. Couldn\'t justify the expense of other items whilst running stock twins atm
Mated to a KnightSport freeflow cat pipe and HKS Hiper Muffler box
I have a Greddy 3" DP on mine, no probs with fit etc - I have not had the HKS one so cant say which is better!
HKS DP fitted very well no problems at all for 12 months - Very well cast with nice thick flanges.
Oh and for sale now - going single!
PM if intrested
I\'ve got the FEED 80mm one. Came with the car when I bought it. Seems very good and saw good figures on the dyno at 1bar.
Will hopefully be for sale in the new year once I get my single turbo :D

5 inch custom made,nice n loud,maximum power:yes
Id Like To Find 4"down Pipe For Single Turbo On V Band To Gt 4088 Cant Find One Anywhere Not Unless Farther Christmas Has Found One For Me Lol
try A-spec on rx7club.com. I think sean does an extra option, but not sure for the RHD.

I\'ve got an SMB 3.5" to 3" one, can\'t comment on durability but the performance is excellent
I got this one for sale
Said to be Knight Sports, double 60mm pipes... I can add in an extra flange (even a Y-piece if needed)
with twin 60mm pipes it\'s the most flowing DP available. I\'ve had a 80mm Trust and 76mm HKS on hand to comapre with.
HKS is mild steel and 5 times as heavy as the Trust.
Trust has a lightly bigger front end cast section (good thing)
Knight Sports has at emast an equal size front section as the Trust and highest flow rate.
KS double pipe DP is for sale, not sure on pricing (depending on what extra\'s you want) so send me an offer. This piece is ultra rare. Only know of 2 in the 7 years of RX7 ownership
