Title: Are the FD electric mirrors heated?
Post by: nikp on November 17, 2003, 11:19:34 AM
Pretty much as the subject says really: are the mirrors heated, and if so, how do you turn them on!!?

Also, the bulb behind the petrol gauge seems not to be working - is it easy to replace? If so, how!!?

Cheers muchly for any advice!

As for the mirrors then no I dont believe so, I have to wipe mine but may be wrong.

With regards to the fuel gauge you may find it actually is working.  On both my FD\'s you have to let the fuel get to an exceedingly low level (right on the line at the bottom) before the light comes on.  It was months before I let mine go low enough to see it.

Cheers

Sorry, when i said the light for the petrol gauge I meant the light that illuminates the gauge when it\'s dark and I switch the lights on! doh!

AS for the heated mirrors: that\'s a bit tight of mazda, aint it!!? Even my calibra has heated mirrors! Right, that\'s it, I\'m selling my Rex!! ;)
