Title: 10-7-7 boost
Post by: Crazy Eddie on August 24, 2006, 11:38:48 PM
Hi Guys,
Quick question my car has been running at 10-7-10 psi and has been great.
Fitted a cold air feed today and took out for spin and only produced 10-7-7 and seems a bit flatter up to redline.
Could I have done something or does this sound like a second turbo problem.
Quite new to ownership so any help really is appreciated.
Cheers
Eddie

The way i llok at things is that if it was running spot on before you intervened then you have created something for it to go wrong if that makes sense ? :Laugh

So have a look through all the piping to make sure nothing is leaking or loose, also where have you introduced the cold air feed into ?

There is a hole out of the top of the standard intercooler ducting so from that to air filter:3Confused

I was trying to think of all the solenoids, air intake hoses perhaps loose, vacuum hose had come off from this bit, or that bit. Nice simple fix though!!
